The Polish multinational KRUK present in Italy since 2016 has acquired an unseccured portfolio from Unicredit Bank with a GBV of 35 million euros. At the same time, the two group has signed a forward flow contract for the periodic transfer of unsecured portfolios up to a return in terms of GBV of 460 million euros between 2024 and 2025. The flows will take place in eight quarterly tranches from June 2024. Kruk and Unicredit are not new to this type of agreement which they had already signed in past years. Particular satisfaction was expressed by Piotr Krupa, Kruk’s CEO who confirms the strong interest in the Italian market. During 2023, Kruk Italy, was in fact one of the most active debtor buyers on the primary market in unsecured asset classes.
