AnaCap, a European leader in private equity investments in the services, technology, and software sectors, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in DK Accountants & Adviseurs, a leading Dutch provider of accounting services.
Founded in 1989, DK offers comprehensive advisory services to SMEs through 12 offices across the Netherlands, providing accounting, tax, payroll, consultancy, and audit services. In recent years, the company has achieved significant growth, completing eight acquisitions since 2019 and investing in technology to scale its operations.
The acquisition marks AnaCap’s first investment in the Netherlands and one of the initial investments of its latest flagship fund. The goal is to strengthen DK’s market position, accelerate the consolidation of the fragmented Dutch accounting sector, and enhance operational efficiency through technological innovation.
Founder and CEO Alber De Koning will continue to lead DK, working with AnaCap to implement a growth strategy based on acquisitions and innovation. The transaction, supported by Linklaters as legal advisors and KPMG for financial advice, is subject to regulatory approval and consultation with employee representatives.
