The Experian Elf Squad: the fraud prevention campaign for the holiday season

Experian, a company specializing in credit information services and data management, stands out this year with an innovative campaign: “Elf Squad.” This creative project aims to raise awareness about an increasingly urgent issue, identity theft, which accounted for 83% of holiday fraud cases in 2023.

The company has developed technology that has prevented over £9.5 billion in fraudulent applications over the past five years. During the holiday season, Brits are expected to spend around £28 billion online, inevitably drawing the attention of cybercriminals.

“Elf Squad” creatively highlights the fight against crime: a team of young elves assists Santa Claus in exposing fraudsters. This lighthearted yet impactful approach enhances awareness of the issue, blending education with entertainment.
