The Credit Services Association (CSA), the UK trade association representing businesses in the debt collection and debt purchase sector, has appointed Desmond Hudson as its new independent chair. Hudson, who has held prominent leadership roles at the Law Society of England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, succeeds Lord Tom Chandos, who had been in office since 2020. During its Annual General Meeting (AGM), the CSA also elected Kathryn Morgan as vice-chair and renewed its board of directors with six new members.
