Mark Debets, former manager of Hudson/Lone Starand Timo van den Noort, former Fortress, are collaborating on the project to found and lead Mica Real Estate in the Netherlands.
The platform will function as a wealth and investment management platform for various investment strategies in the Dutch real estate market for Arrow funds and other third-party capital.
The Mica Real Estate portfolio will include different types of assets including sustainable offices, life sciences, commercial, residential and hospitality. The platform will acquire assets that need repositioning.
In line with Arrow’s strategic vision for the real estate sector, which selectively targets complex and financially distressed situations in major European cities, the launch of Mica Real Estate strengthens Arrow’s real estate opportunities strategy. Furthermore, it integrates its diverse investment activities ranging from opportunistic credit to direct lending.
Mica Real Estate also strengthens Arrow in the Netherlands, an area experiencing strong demand for real estate assets. Arrow is also present in the country with Vesting Finance, Focum and RNHB.
