The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) has named Rémi Kireche as Director of Advocacy to spearhead the organization’s efforts in promoting the Capital Markets Union (CMU) including in the policy areas of securitisation, equity capital markets, post-trade and sustainable finance, among others.. Rémi, with a decade of experience in financial services and public affairs in Brussels and Paris, previously worked at Flint Global, advising financial institution clients on EU financial services policy and regulation. Prior to this, he held positions at the European Commission, Société Générale, and the French regulator Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). Jacqueline Mills, Managing Director and Head of Advocacy, expressed enthusiasm for Rémi’s appointment and emphasized the significance of his role in advancing AFME’s mission to foster robust capital markets conducive to economic growth in the EU and the UK.
