Intrum has announced its first co-investment transaction in Hungary alongside a new financial partner. The deal involves the acquisition of an unsecured non-performing loan portfolio on the secondary market with a total value of around HUF 41 billion.
The transaction is part of the group’s strategy to strengthen its asset-light model and expand its footprint across Central and Eastern Europe. Intrum will manage the portfolio over the next five years, further increasing its servicing activities in the region.
